Default Tips for painting warhounds?

I'm doing a chaos warrior army atm, atm it's focused on nurgle but I'm thinking of expanding it to incorporate other gods after my first 1k, however I was wondering whether I should paint my warhounds in a scheme that is nurgle like or perhaps keep them neutral so they can slide in other none focused armies, what do you think?

You probably won't have that many Warhound units on the table in a game, so painting them more generically is more economical.
