Looks good so far buddy. I really like the bone on the mask. Only comments...the highlight looks a bit wide on the powerfist arm giving it an almost grey look especially at the joint where the powerfist meets the arm. This could be the lighting though. I'd also go back and blackline around the eye pieces on the mask to give them some more definition. Of course, you're still working on it so these issues may already be addressed LOL.

Good luck and good gaming,

Nate

Hey, wow, so this is the start of your black templars right? Looking nice as ever, and you were right about the dry brushing highlighting - It looks great.

Yeah, it should be the start, I'll have another pic up shortly, just painting the parchment below his waist.

Right, the other arm is done, and one of the legs is done a bit, but the parchment itself is done, just needs litany, but what ye think of the parchment, i quite like how its worked out! Thanks for taking a look!

Looks like jobz a gud 'un so far buddy! The parchment looks nice from what I can see. You might want to turn him a bit to the side on the next pic so we can get a better look at it though . Keep it up!

Good luck and good gaming,

Looking good so far and I am diggin the cleanliness of the paint in particular. I am a fan of clean, sharp paint and this has got definite potential.

one thing I want is the ability to split my fire everywhere, it makes no sense that a squad of 10 guard or marines or whatever all have to fire at 1 target with everything, is the guy with the lascannon not smart enough to realize maybe he would be better off firing at the massive tank looming overhead instead of the little man no bigger than a squat running at him, or is that far too complex for the 10yr olds?

Great start. Like Wraith said your painting is very crisp and clean. Keep up the good work I can't wait to see it finished.

This may be a dumb question but what chapter is he with?
