Here's my Nagash progress for today. Any advice for improving it?

A bit hard to tell with the photos you've provided.

The true nature of Chaos is beyond any comprehension. No mere mortal can ever hope to understand these matters, and the wise do not puzzle too deeply over Chaos Gods, or try to fathom their wars, rivalries and bickerings.

The green is a little bit too neon bright green. Needs to be more ghostly and pale colours imho, dilute that purple aswell though the way you lay colours looks good.

I really like the brighter palette, it reminds me of the olden days of Warhammer when everything was in super-bright primary colours. And Nagash is a relic of those days, is he not? I mean, he's still rocking that hat and it's 8th edition.
