Default Sternguard Squad

Finished with these guys for now. Might come back to them and add some more freehand to the shoulders and cloth but for now they can hit the table ready for battle! My initial thought is that the general looks way to blue to match the regular troops so will probably glaze him black a little to tie them together more while keeping the lights alive. Think next I fancy doing a vehicle? Thanks!

very nice paint. The close up picture is better than the group. The close up shows off the highlighting better.

God, gives children to people so that death won't seem so disappointing.

That is really nice, its simple but detailed too, I imagine the freehand will also make it really pop, but the general looks nice slightly bluer, he fits with the unit but is clearly different from the others. Could I be really cheeky and ask what colours you used for the loin cloth? I have been trying to get mine on several models like that for ages but can never get the colour quite right.

Me: To be honest im amazed there isn't a chaos god of not revising or at least chaos god of procrastination

MidnightSun: There will be, when enough people do it. Y'know when the Eldar were all engaging in their hedonism and Slaanesh ripped open the Eye of Terror with his creation? Slaanesh will have NOTHING on the God of Procrastination, and his vile minions will carve the galaxy asunder in a thousand year reign of blood.... Tomorrow
