Default Renegade Militia Ideas ?

I am playing with the idea of putting together a 500 point renegade militia force , I have a fair few ideas I was just hoping for some feedback and some of your ideas too. Here are my plans so far ;

Heads : Pig Iron Productions " masked heads " I thought the balaclavas just screamed militia.

Torsos and Legs: Standard Cadian torsos with Imperial insignia filed off and a fair bit of battle damage.

Weapons : I am planning on cutting the barrels off the lasguns to shorten them down , and have most of the militia with ammo belts around them and lots of grenades.

Virtus Junxit Mors Non Seperabit - Whom virtue has united death shall not seperate.

Sounds good mate, it's a classic conversion using Pig Iron Helmets but I haven't seen any with the balaclava's yet. It's a really cool idea, as you say it's screams milita.

Have you considered changing the mags on the lasguns and saying that are autoguns?

I think the masked heads are new...
