Default Ultramarine Tactical Squad - Second Edition!

Quite proud of this squad. Was a lot of fun to paint. The missile launcher is my favourite part. I can't wait to paint the new centurions in this scheme :D

ahhh those take me back to the psychedelic 90s when everything GW painted looked like it had just stepped out of the latest Disney cartoon, the hobby seemed to be alot less serious and more "fun" back then, not more enjoyable but much less anal, if you wanted to paint your marines metalic purple and green you could and you could even buy the pain to do it!

but those marine model were utter shite, as were almost all the plastics back then.

And even though they were shite, if somebody said you can have 10 of these or 10 of the current marines, I know which I'd choose.

You'd really choose the older marines, eh? What's not to like about where they've gone?

Those models look like they came straight out of a WD from my youth. Great job, Gareth.

Unfortunately Canada got rid of the penny and now my two cents rounds down to zero, so...take it for what you will.

Yep, if somebody had 10 of these in the left hand and the new box in the right, I would empty that left hand without even blinking
