Default Making Banners

I have designed and printed some banners for my army using MS Visio. Is there a way to coat it to protect it and make it look realistic without ruining the design printed on it? I have never done a banner before and I have a great design.

Moved to Modeling and Painting.

one thing I want is the ability to split my fire everywhere, it makes no sense that a squad of 10 guard or marines or whatever all have to fire at 1 target with everything, is the guy with the lascannon not smart enough to realize maybe he would be better off firing at the massive tank looming overhead instead of the little man no bigger than a squat running at him, or is that far too complex for the 10yr olds?

It'll be difficult.

You should experiment a little. My first thought would be heavily watered down PVA glue, but that could ruin the design. This takes some thought.....

What about varnish or a clear coat? Also, how can I make it wavy, you know not lust like a straight piece of paper but look like its moving a bit? Thank you.

my suggestion would be to bend one half of it around a pen, then do the other half in the other direction, some people just crease them from the point of suspension towards the end.

after that I would suggest spraying them very lightly with matte varnish using many many coats over a long time. theoretically you could also dip them in clear resin and hang dry. (always perform a test when mixing use of liquids and papers)

Matte varnish is a good clear sealer.

Im not what you want to use for a banner, but here is a good plastic banner tutorial:
