Default Legends of the Old West

Reach for your six shooter you yeller bellied cur!

So its a pretty obscure game system but, strangely, one of the best the Games Workshop has produced in a while. Anyhoo, me and Tawa have been planning some form of Legends campaign for a number of years now, either in 28mm or 15mm. I have been using this time to put together a couple of 28mm groups - Lawmen and Banditos and here is what I have completed so far. Its a six a-side and so far I need to finish one more Lawman and four more Banditos;

These awesome guys are from the chaps at Artizan Miniatures, are brilliant to paint and are freaking cheap as the proverbial. If there are any laws about basing figures on coins can someone tip me the nod? I don't want the Royal Mint's heavies rearranging my knee caps anytime soon.

We set for 28's then brofus?

What range are they from? I'd been looking at the PeterPig stuff in 15mm as they do all the buildings we'd need. But hey, either scale is good for me

Nice looking figs there btw!

Still good for 15mm, easier on the wallet and gaming space!

Those are from Artizan Miniatures wild west range, I just enjoy painting them but will definitley be investing in the Peter Pig wild west stuff.

Well thats the last guy finished for my six man Lawman/Cowboy posse. I can now start on the rest of my Bandito's. Like Warpath says above, these are really welll sculpted miniatures, always enjoy painting anything by Artizan. Also found a bunch of spare bits of balsa wood so am going to try and out together some Wild West type buildings. I suck big time at making scenry so I am not holding out much hope for success!

Remember, not all buildings have to be typically "Wild West" false-front wooden ones. You could have a brick or stone church, and many Wild west movie battle are fought over adobe block buildings, quite like classic Ork buildings...
