Default Wips, work and randoms!

Hellooo Heresy

I am going to keep random wips, bits and bobs and other random bits of work I am doing that does not relate to my personal armies in any way. So to kick the thread off here is the starts to a Empire Celestia Hurricanum.

The model landed on my desk put together so i had a bit of work taking it apart. There is so much going on with this model that i would suggest anyone building one do it in stages. The main body refused to come apart as i would liked to have been able to get to the detail further in with out much trouble!

Started on the horses first (sorry the pic is a little blur its off a phone)

So what are your thoughts so far?

That horse is extremely well done! I'm in envy of your wet-blending technique. I also like that you used turquoise as the armor highlight. I'm a fan of this color combination as well. Keep up the good work, looking forward to seeing what you accomplish with the rest of the set.

@maelstrom48 - Cheers mate

Here is a few updates on other bits I have been working on.
A White Scars Storm Talon, this is the first of three that I am doing. The weapons are all magnetised and I have done the powercell and ammo feed too. Startsed on the red before but i'm not to sure where else I should place it as I don't want to go over the top with it. After that it needs some weathering which will be fun on white lol

C&C always welcome

Not much brush action today but I have had a building day
I did a bit of battle damage to the Storm Talon and added a little more red in places. The canopy is not done yet and not fixed in place as I have to paint the pilot.

And for the building !!!!!

As a fellow plastic crack addict, I know you can never really have enough, but 47 bikes? Damn. Who needs that many?

Haha it is alot of bikes, they will be split up so 12 are going to be attack bikes, 1 converted in a HQ choice and 6 ish into a command.

Cheers for the comments and for the +rep Silens I will try get another update in before heading to London for the marathon. Not running it, the GF is I'm gonna see her off and then find a GW to paint in lol so if anyone knows where the closest gw is to the finish line it would be a great help
