Default Modeling Black Dragons "Death of Antagonis"

Looking at the cover art for the book "Death Of Antagonis" and liking what I'm seeing and was pondering how would you model the "curse" the bone sabers and other things coming out of the marines? Use the chaos horns and things? fantasy skeletons bones? Along with marine Kits to make the "Black Dragons"

The new forsaken kit might be a good place to start, perhaps beastmen bits, lizardmen, or chaos possessed? Other than that, maybe just green stuff? Attach a blob to the area you want, then smoth it down aound the edges so it looks like its part of the area, then just pinch and pull it into a point or spike?

Ooo didn't think of that they are good ideas

The forsaken might be the best I think along with some green stuff proably new to cut and paste the skes and things off them though (the forsaken I mean)

I was wondering about this too. I just finished Death of Antagonis last night and I'm set on making them my first army. Side note: Would you use Death Company rules for Dragon Claw squads?

Haven't read the book yet but are they berzerk? Will read it once I can get my hands on it. The impression I got wasthey are basically assault sqauds or maybe vangaurd by the specialised use of their bone mutations

I have no help but I will say that I absolutely loved that book. Especially the pages in the middle with the pictures detailing their 'bony growths' (Innuendo detected).

Without revealing anything about the book (seriously, it's not just a great WH40k story, it's one of the better books I've read in a long time. Get it!) Dragon Claws are those individuals whose mutations are more severe than other members of their chapter. Claws aren't fueled by a berserker rage like Death Company or World Eaters, but because of their natural weapons they preform better than standard Assault Squads. Pretty sure that's it. I've been told to use Death Company rules for the Claws though, just because they're so similar.
