I don't think so, I've never heard of them doing anything like that but some of the individual painters may do commissions on the side, possibly.

They are not allowed it is written into their contract. A paint job to Eavy metal standard is possible. Check my link at the bottom, our studio has painters that have the talent to replicate Eavy metal paint jobs.

Yeah I doubt it as they will always be painting new models, but as Warpath says there are plenty of other commissioners (like Gollum) which create stunning armies to specification

Me: To be honest im amazed there isn't a chaos god of not revising or at least chaos god of procrastination

MidnightSun: There will be, when enough people do it. Y'know when the Eldar were all engaging in their hedonism and Slaanesh ripped open the Eye of Terror with his creation? Slaanesh will have NOTHING on the God of Procrastination, and his vile minions will carve the galaxy asunder in a thousand year reign of blood.... Tomorrow

Speaking as an ex-Eavy Metal painter, I can say that publically doing commissions was not allowed. All work is contractually obliged to be presented to GW first so they can use it if they wish.

The few exceptions were for things like the Make A Wish Foundation. We did stuff for them on occasion.

However, that never stopped private work between friends. We were also (with very tight restrictions) allowed to sell on eBay. So unless you know an EM painter and can privately work something out, going via GW is unlikely to get you anywhere.

There are 2 rules to being a success in life:
1) Never give out all the information

Or send them off to Silver Tabby here. That is assuming Tabby would be willing to paint em up for you.

My youtube channel. Feel free to stop by and have a look if you're interested. I do Airsoft, some warhammer related videos, and gaming videos.

R.I.P. Uncle Lee. You will be greatly missed by us all. We will see each other again some day.

As others have said look into one of the many commission painting services out there, some are truly top notch. Do your homework first though.

Also avoid Bluetable painting (or any other group that specializes in mass production and turn around), i've been hearing some real horror stories about them.
