Default Minis with dynamic poses?

I'm thinking of building my first small diaorama with two guys fighting each other. As I'm not very good at green stuffing big or complicated things I would like to do this as little as possible on the minis.

In my back head I would end up with two melee fighers where at least one is a marine where he's helmet are just torn away of a strike to the head... But that's something I can do when my modeling and GS'ing gets ... better...

The problem is that it's my feeling that most of the nice figures are more or less just standing in cool flexing poses (hey... look at me... I have a cool weapon... or standard... or what ever). So I thought why not ask you guys of which two figurines would look good/cool/intensive together... or just point me in the direction of seperate minis with cool dynamic poses?

Things I'd like to do better (in no special order):
- Glowing eyes... how cool isn't that?
- Urban basing... There are so many ways to do this cool.
- Freehand texting... It can always get smaller...

I've been wanting to get Ghaghzkull Thraka charging some huge monster like a Hive Tyant with 4 swords

Hormagaunts are pretty dynamic, they're good for duels. Space Marines are pretty easy to make dynamic due to the huge amount of pieces you can mix together. The Sanctioned Psyker model with outstretched arm is a pretty cool one to go with that considering they have the Lightning Arc power. Having a Hormagaunt leaping towards the Psyker but taking a blast of lightning to the face would be a cool one. Pretty much anything multi-part and plastic can be made dynamic with very little conversion work.

True.. true... I looked at the Hormagaunts and the parts looks promising. The multi part kits of the SM Tactical or Terminator squad seems to make the trick as well....

The wyches are nice as well...

Maybe it's time to do some planing....

If you want some dynamic legs the chaos bezerkers have some varied poses. Running leaping etc.
