Default Tyrant and fex. Basing advice

i dont actually have the fex any more, but i'm coming back to them hopefully trying to get 1500 points painted. Im trying to decide on basing and am considering going with the same as the fex was but with snow as well. What do you guys think?

If you have access to the current GW miniature painting guide, check out the bases the Valhallans have in the step-by-step guide. I just love those snow bases.

If that's what you mean then go for that. Great miniatures btw, well done.

(I wanted to paint snow bases for sometime, then when I decided to begin Tau by painting a box of Fire Warriors I had images of Hoth in Empire Strikes Back and went with the full snow base over a partial one.)
