Default City of Death ruin

Recently finished a building I've made from insulation foam, cardboard, sprues and glue. Planning to make more and use them for a nice big City of Death! Put my Callidus Assassin in there for scale.

The scale and structure look great.

I do not like the melted threads

I'm with Dave here! The scale looks nice. The melted bits look really wierd and almost like it was a mistake or something. Try adding some other bits to it to make it really pop, it's lookin a bit bland. Good start man!

Maybe some green, tyranid-ish igor/slime? I'm guessing it's because you used a hot glue gun? The smoothness of the goop just looks off.

The rest of the texture is spot on though.

Could paint the melted parts to look like wires. Add some detail on the interior, like posters, floor tiling, debris

Thanks for the comments. The melted parts are intentional, but yeah I only painted the model with spray paint quickly so there's no detail. Had considered either doing them as cables/wires, vines or tyranid goop. Should probably paint it but was lazy.

I like the idea of adding some detail, maybe will print out some on paper and glue it on the floors/walls.

Good idea. Unfortunately when I search google all I get is a ton of demotivational posters. Anyone have any links?

I found these some time ago. I am not sure who made them originally. Hopefully they might have what you want:

I converted them to .png so they should be scalable to fit your needs.
