Default Chaos Warriors & Halberds

Hello all! Been assembling my first block of Warriors past few days, and ran into the issue of the metal halberds not gluing so well in the arm socket. Does anyone have any advice that may help? I am not using more than a dab of super glue and it just is not staying together.

What glue are you using? GW Super sucks donkey balls. Gum would work better.

Strange, but not a Stranger.

Definitely not GW super glue xD it is just generic super glue you would find at a hobby store, nothing fancy. It seriously just says super glue on it xD

I agree that pinning is the best solution.

If you are really in too much of a hurry to get a drill then keying both surfaces (cutting many shallow lines at several angles) will increase the bond.

Dave, I have to disagree with you.

From my experience keying surfaces works with polystyrene cement, because you want to expose as much surface area as possible to the melting action of the cement. Superglue usually bonds better when both surfaces are clean, smooth, and present a maximum of contact area.
