Default Deadzone

The Kickstarter for Mantic's new game is now live.

This should see a load of terrain options appear later on which should appeal to anyone playing 28mm sci-fi games, even if they don't go for anything else!

Funded in 33 minutes and flying. All early-birds are gone but the sweet-spot deal to go for is "Strike Team".

Pledge tracker is here: http://forum.manticblog.com/showthre...Pledge-Tracker

On their update today, they showed the core box and man was it huge! I'm stoked that they got the core box done! It looks like we just might have, at least, the core on time.

I wish I had backed this after all, looks like this will be a great little game in a box with plenty of scope to expand it - apparently Mars Attacks forces are also going to get an option to be crossed over here as well!

Is Deadzone scenery suitable for 40K?

Just wondering because I spotted this on Amazon and it's alot cheaper and more value than GW's scenery:

In a word: Yes. Deadzone is 28-30mm.

Heralds of Ruin has their own Kill Team rules which are, (imho) lightyears beyond anything GW made in quite a while for Kill Team. And I'm actually glad you showed me that Amazon link, because I think that the Enforcer team is perfect for a Deathwatch squad.

Yeah, that stuff is ideal. That's the same as you get in the Deadzone box, but they had the good sense to bring out these extra kits from the get go. I know they sold like hot cakes in my LGS. We're gonna be using them for a Necromunda campaign we're running in March.
