Default Imperial Guard kill team

Ok guys, hope nobody minds if I use this thread as a work in progress? It's so I can get a good critique throughout my kill-team building process. This is what I've made so far. They are only really based on Deathworld Vets stat-wise and so the armour is a reflection of how I plan on modelling them.

== Kill Team "Monks of Rapture" ==

Polkovnik. Aleksandr Ballard Based on Deathworld Captain (61pts)
- Power fist
- Bolt pistol
- Carapace Armour

1st Leytenant. Márcio Fernando Based on Deathworld Veteran (27pts)
- Meltagun
- CC
- Carapace Armour

Quartermaster. Nikolai Based on Deathworld Veteran (17pts)
- Shotgun
- laspistol
- CC
- Carapace Armour

Starshina. Fyodor Kovalenko Based on Deathworld Veteran (21pts)
- Autogun
- Laspistol
- Carapace Armour

Kapral. Vasiliy Ivanov Based on Deathworld Veteran Sniper (20pts)
- Needle sniper rifle

Total: 146pts

well the kill team is extremely small for guard.
but is pretty damn cool.

i like the variety. but the kill team is based on close quarter fights like melta which is anti tank and power fist and cc weapons. imperial guard die very quick in combat unless you are versing tau by which you could marginaly win.

any way cool list

I'm mostly going for a kind of novelty kill team a la the Last Chancers, but I agree I could make it a bit bigger. Might strip some of the stats off the smaller characters and get some fodder in there.

I prefer characterized teams over bland kill-teams.
It gives your squad a nice feel when you field them.

I would keep it as it is, if you play the round right you can win and even if you dont it will be a learning experience so you can see what to add. Not to mention the game is just for fun. :]
