In my opinion, I would add some psykers, upgrade one or both LRBTs to demolishers and one valkyrie. That would fill the extra points to 2000 pts.

What is the most feared army by you ?
An easy question .... pokemons of course !

My Cadian army showcase !

Good list (although I don't do all-Vet lists anymore).

If you're planning on doing a first turn Alpha-strike I would get an Astropath to increase your chances of success.

Other than that a PBS could be ok...it depends on what armies who face really - ones with a Psychic Hood can mitigate a PBS's effect somewhat, although it's range isn't as long (36"> 24") so quite easily sorted.

THere's nothing wrong with LRBT's but my Executioner(s) kill far more, so taking a different Russ could be an idea...Demolishers are my no.3 best Russ.

You could take a second CCS if you have it, or even a Squadron of Sentinels...Scouts with AC's work well. Or a HH or BW even.

Overall, plenty of ideas to choose from.

Why did you move away from all Vets?

How would a Astropath help with alpha-strike? (i dont have my codex on hand)

Not a big fan of PBS.

Have thought about running a plasma tank but TBH I dont see it being wort the points over what you get with a LRBT.

Another CCS was somthing I considered but thought it would be best to leave open for a Psychic Hood.

LOL like you said "plenty of ideas to choose from" so really just dont know what way to run with it.

Wanted something that plays differently because I was getting bored with all Vets. Now play a Hybrid list that includes a Platoon or 2 that I use to bubblewrap/protect my DZ....I've had Artillery last the entire game. My win count increased the day I went this route and I play in a very competitive group, and I was in the top 20% anyway (now top 10%).

Helps you get the best Board edge you arrive from if outflanking, amd also helps your reserves arrive earlier...great for alpha-strikes with your Vets/Vendettas (which I don't like myself).

Fair enough, but you already have 6 Troops, 2 FA, 1 HQ, 3 HS...so not a lot left to suggest where to spend points.

I have 27 Russes and my numero uino killing machine is my 245 point Executioner (I have 2 actually)...virtually never fails to perform well, and I'm up to 109 games with the current Codex.

Then spend the points on that.

Ahhh, the joy of having such a great Codex
