Default 2000 Point Guard + Orks: Motorz, Dakka, and Splosions.

This idea occurred to me when I was converting a Blackreach copter into a warbike. What if these guys were to team up with some Guard heavy metal? this is the list that spawned from my random thought, and I have to say that I like what is going on. However at the same time I will admit that I don't know all that much about 40k, and have never played a game larger than 600 points.

Pros: no fear of 2+ armor or any armor for that matter: With Powerclaws, Demolishers, Lascannons, Marbo, melta and plazma vets I don't think there is much which can stand up to the hurt this list can dish out.

Allies of convince: Orks and Guard don't have to make those pesky checks to see if they can play nice in the same sandbox.

Cons: I think air power will do me in: I wanted to put some Guard Quad-Cannons into the mix but don't know what to remove. Right now the Vendetta is the only thing I see taking out flyers.

Low Scoring Units: There are only 5 scoring units in the army, of which I wouldn't expect more than two to survive. It seems that I would have to pound my enemy into the dust in order to be sure of victory most matches.

Seems a decent list, not the way I'd with an Ork-Guard army, but each to their own and that. Only real point of criticism is Marbo. Be careful how you use him. Against Hordes he's great, against smaller squads your demolition charge could end up somewhere in outer Moldovia at which point Marbo dies quickly to the return fire.

So far I have used him twice. First time he pops up and throws the demo charge at a fully loaded transport and hits dead on. Then I rolled snake eyes to pen. The next time Marbo through the demo charge at a squad of terminators and it scattered to the moon missing everyone. He is staying in any list until he proves that he can accomplish something beyond whiffing with a demo charge and dying. although in hindsight he did draw a lot of fire in both cases that didn't go towards my heavy weapon squads so I count it as a win.
