New Daemon of Tzeench.

Here's my rules for my new daemon of Tzeentch:

Shifter of Tzeentch:
Of all the bizarre and twisted daemons of Tzeentch, none is more disturbing or as odd as the Shifters of Tzeentch. Tzeentch adores all acts of manipulation, plotting and treachery, and none of his daemons embody this more than the Shifters.
The shifter possesses to ability to take any vaguely humanoid shape it desires, whether this be the shape of another god's lesser daemons or the shape of a mortal it wishes to impersonate. This makes the shifter brilliant at manipulating mortals with it's insidiously hatched plans and sowing discord with it's plots amongst Tzeentch's many foes. Although the shifter is an almost perfect physical mimic it is still a daemon of Tzeentch, and as such tends to speak in riddles, and exudes an aura that makes most mortals uncomfortable and allows psykers to easily 'see' through it's disguises.
Though not as physically or psychically powerful as one of Tzeentch's greater daemons the shifter is still a terror to face against across the battlefield. An advisor's voice whispers to the enemy commander, misinforming him of enemies positions and formations. If the shifter is discovered it is by no means defenseless. Assuming a form more suiting of it's patron, the shifter has the ability to mimic the many gifts of other gods and weapons of mortals, shifting its limbs into fiery swords and plagued blades to destroy it's foes and hardening it's skin till it is as hard as iron. If weapons are brought to bear against it, it may assume the form of a wounded comrade to further confuse and disrupt the enemy. Giving it time to plot when next to strike.

Errr... Breath of Chaos+Flight+Feel No Pain+DS+high Inv. Save+great stats = three surprise templates of dead people and you can't even take revenge. I'm not a fan of this setup.

And by the way, thats Tzeentch.

The fool, the coward, and the ignorant proclaim that the warp is a realm of unknowable peril and indescribable terror, that it is the hell of countless ancient myths and legends. This is a lie, told by those whose authority is based on lies, to keep the masses terrified of the unknown. The warp is limitless power and its secrets are infinite; it is knowledge and strength, life and death, and the untapped potential to make and remake worlds. It takes only the discipline and the will to shape it; those who lack that clarity of purpose are liable to be shaped by it instead.

Thanks. Was wondering why the way I was spelling it looked so wrong.

First of all thanks for the feedback. I was already considering removing WoC from the shapeshift list, but surely it's not that OP? A DP can have the wings+WoC combo for much cheaper, or is it the fact that the shifter also has better ranged defenses than a DP? Keep in mind these guys cost 160pts each and are basically a weaker (stats wise) version of the daemon prince (although slightly more diverse in use). Do you think dropping a wound and/or a point of toughness would help? Are there any shapeshift powers that should be dropped (besides WoC, which I will drop)? Should it be only 2 shapeshift powers per turn?

Again thanks for the feedback! More would be much appreciated.

to be completly honest, drop em to 2 wounds and 3 attacks (sounds harsh but then u dont have to change any of the other stats) and make it so that the power selected has to be for the whole unit (unless i missed that) and I would say they are fair, maybe even for 140-150 pts each.

and btw you dont need to state that fearless still need to test (cuz fearless still need to test "leadership tests" anyways, they just pass morale and pinning automatically) correct me if im mistaken however.

o btw, if the 2 wound thing seems bad then you could always just make the unit act together (+ makes em 1 kp)

Sounds like good advice. I've changed the shifter to 2W, 3A. I'm gonna start play-testing it soon, because it could look balanced on paper, but be OP IRL.
