[SBG] Moria list - 500pts

Greetings all!

Seeing the lack of activity on the LotR boards, I thought I would toss up the last 500pt list I played and get some feedback.

Durburz
Captain
Shaman
Drums
Cave Troll with Chain
Remainder Equally Split between Shields/Spear/Bow Goblins

What do you guys think?

Its a shame because I like LotR, I have a sick Elf army that I never use.

if my maths is correct, you only have 14 goblins in this army, i would suggest dropping the drum and using the points on more gobbos, Gobbo armys rely on numbers and you dont need the drum in a 500pts list. Other than that it is a fairly good list, just needs more gobbos an it should be able to surround most opponanats with ease. Just remember to use the shamans fury power as soon as possable to keep your goblins fighting.

24 Goblins with Spear, Shield or Bow...If I drop anything from the list, it is usually the Captain to up the Goblin body count or swap out for a bat swarm. Fury is the greatest! Last game I failed to cast it three times in a row...it is amazing how much different the army plays without it.

yeah, drop something to get more gobbos, you need to get as close to the limit as possible, its how gobbos really win. I'd drop the troll personally, because they normally seem like a bullet magnet whenever ive seen them used. Ive got an orc army that well outnumbers you.
IMHO anyway

Sorry, I didn't notice your reply till now.

Like I said I never use them, probably haven't in about a year and a half, if not longer.

I used to take Haldir and Legolas and just troop heavy with bows and some long swords.

But the only time I ever played LOTR was with 3 friends, one friend used Gondor and the other two where Uruks and Goblins.

I might get back into it actually, I used to enjoy it.
