I don't imagine I'll every buy any Hobbit stuff, I -might- buy some LotR cavalry for my VC's but that's about it.

WTF?!?! At $1,240 for the ultimate bundle you'd hope that GW was going to start offering 24 months interest free finance if they want to keep doing bundles like that.

I might get the starter box and maybe some of the terrain, but's that's about it. Even if I do decide to get it, I won't be pre-ordering or buying it in a hurry

Yep, I sold my house, my car, and my kidney to afford it. Totally worth it.

On a more serious note, I 'm not buying for a few reasons:

1. The models are crap
2. I could buy a space marine company box (I think its called the spear of sicarius or something) for the same price
3. Nobody's going to play it after a few months or days. It has even less models than LOTR.
4. It costs SO MUCH.

WHY DO LOTR BOXES HAVE 50% LESS MODELS FOR 30% LESS?

But it's the Hobbit miniatures game!
