Default The Hobbit Wishlisting

So, there's a good chance that GW will be releasing something around the time of the Hobbit and already rumours are going round that they are working on things.

So my question is this, what do you wish to see with a Hobbit release from GW? Perhaps it's models that you'd really like to see released, or perhaps it's rules you'd like to be included with a possible Hobbit book?

Regards,
Jake.

I wish to see a fucking HUGE and impressive Smaug model. They could make so much out of it if done right!

Apart from that getting unique models for the Dwarfs and other guys in movie would be good. As for rules, not thanks, because the Skirmish game for LotR is beautiful at the moment.

I have recently started a new Blog. I would really appreciate it if you would LOOK AT IT

Smaug would be great, as long as they do it properly. The thing I would like most is a boxed set of the dwarves, though a Beorn would also be more than welcome.

Jake.

Definitely Beorn.. I'd love to have a well done miniature and be able to play and watch a melee powerhouse tearing through whatever poor orcs you want to throw at him. The way I envision it is he'd be the one model above all others that the opponent does not want to get into combat with (I mean, the dwarves, who are no slouches, tried Bolg's bodyguard and failed.. and then Beorn shows up in bear form and absolutely wrecks the place, crushing Bolg in the bargain)

A Bolg miniature would be cool too now you mention it.

some nice twisted evil wood elf models, like dryads but with a more human quality, something to really show the influence of the dark lord upon them

im pretty sure we will get a fellowship style dwarf set which will be excellent i dont doubt

Hooray for useless Hobbits. I'm really hoping if they do a Smaug model that it isn't like the current Dragon (bland and static). Some extra poses for goblins would be welcome too.

Jake.

Presumably the Smaug model will have to look like he does in the movie, so it will depend how cool that is. Mind you is smaug even in the first movie?

Also dont forget the movie has been expanded to include the white councils assault on Dol Guldor so we might see a retread of the Fall of the Necromancer stuff

Some models of those bad-ass looking Elf Cavalry would be cool!
