I have run the full DCA unit, it kills the thing I charge (out of a land raider, it CAN charge across the board, and gives grenades) and then they are wiped out. A mixed unit does the same job, and then DOESN'T get wiped out, and does it again. But I run a henchmen primary list, and DCAs are my hammer, and comfortably too. Just, I guess, chalk it up to differing play styles. My advice comes from playing with both builds, and the Crusader mix works for me better than pure DCAs.

As to Psykers, if the enemy can't hood them, they're really effective. And the best anti-terminator weapon in the arsenal, done right. So some blow up, there are plenty more

Do you feel like the list should be running more of the Psyker/Joko combination? What are your thoughts on those 4 Paladins in the last list?

No good. If my paladins couldnt take psycannons I wouldnt even consider them, and you need 5 before you could take special weapons.

To be honest i haven't explored the henchmen lists to much so I cant go into lots of detail. What i can say is that point for point after some thought I think death cult is the best CC unit in the game, their only weakness is that they are made of paper, which is where crusaders come in. Jokos are cool but I try to avoid random affects in my list where I can, sure you could increase range by 12 but the rest of the affects I think will be pretty useless in a psyk unit, but thats just me.

Just for fun and because I want to procrastinate from my studying, here is what I would do with the death cult units:
Henchmen
6 death cult
4 crusaders
rhino
= 190
I agree that chimera isnt the best option because of the rear access, but also the AV 10 side armour is easily exploited, rhino is cheaper, and finally the rhino has fortitude

The first list drops the 4 man squad of Paladins and one of the Joko to get a Vindicare and upgrade both Dreads to Venerable. It increases my shooting by making the Dreads super reliable and the addition of the Vindicare, but at the same time, it doesn't add that much punch to the list. I guess the question is, "Does the list need more punch?"

THe Second list is much simpler, adding a NDK with a Teleporter. It will take a lot of pressure off the Paladins and provides a great way to deal with really fast armies/flank heavy tank lines.

Thoughts?
