Pack type for Thunder Wolves Cavelry?

Hi Guys.

I have started to plan the paint job of my newly received thunder wolves and a question popped up.... What kind of pack is a Thunder wolf rider part of? I'd like to have the correct color marking on the shoulder pads and there for my question. I think I've read somewhere something about them being wolf guards but not wolf guards... but I don't know for sure.

Thoughts?

Id not I was thinking on maybe having a white base (as long fangs) but instead of the usual black mark I'll paint red markings like the base for Grey Hunters... It's like the experienced guys but still somewhat eager for close combat.

Things I'd like to do better (in no special order):
- Glowing eyes... how cool isn't that?
- Urban basing... There are so many ways to do this cool.
- Freehand texting... It can always get smaller...

Don't have my dex in front of me atm...but think I'd personally base it off of whichever part of the FOC they are in...If Fast Attack then pack mark them as claws like you would swift claws or skyclaws...If Elites then as Wolf Guard...

Just my thoughts ;)

And that is why I appreciate this forum..

I found my codex and did some reading yesterday and found the text about them eventually being WG. Something about it was rumored (dadadada) that killing or catching a thunder wolf was some kind of initiation ritual for joining the WG... So I guess it can be interpreted as what ever.. ;)

But I might go with it being blue marking as WG usually has... (But white and Red would have looked nice as a contrast to all the blue and grey... )
I might post some pics when they are painted.

Put it this way: riding a massive killing machine of a wolf into battle makes you pretty darn elite... so it would be astonishing if they weren't wolf guard.

The fluff also makes it clear that they aren't just Wolf Guard, but elite Wolf Guard. Though they are still only Ld8... so I guess they struggle a little to control their mounts at times

Ha.. true dat.
Kinda same answer I got in another thread regarding the very same thing. (See below)

Thanx guys.... I'm satisfied with the feedback.

Carsen.
Since when have Wolf Guard had blue shoulder pad pack markings?
I think you'll find they are yellow and black.

Though I take your life, I promise you the stars...
