Icon Favourite Close Combat Character

Who do you think is the coolest special character who isn't really good for anything but close combat based on rules/fluff or whatever, like say Kharn the Betrayer or Drazhar Master of Blades

My current favourite is Castellen Crowe

Just about everything Lelith Hesperax has to offer. Both her in-game rules and fluff. The fact that she's one of the few Dark Eldar who doesn't use combat drugs, saying it ruins the experience is a good bit, and she can tear stuff up on tabletop. She may only be S3, but all those extra attacks come very much in handy.

Writer of crappy fics, I hope you might derive some enjoyment from them.

At worst he hits on a 4+, wounds almost everything on a 2+, can pop AV14 vehicles on a bad roll, ignores all saves, solid amount of attacks, need strength 5 or above to wound him (or poision/etc), fires a lascannon as a pre-assault weapon, in a marine world he has an average initiative, and looks great on the field.

Major drawbacks are he's a bit slow and does not have eternal warrior (so strength 5 force weapons are kinda scary).

Deep gratitude to Varakir for the signature.

Call me insane but my IG Company Commander, upgraded with a Power sword and a Plasma pistol and a WS of 4, he aint the best, but ether because of insanely lucky rolls on my part, or just the sheer insanity that im assaulting with IG catching my opponent off guard has lead to some interesting situations. This being the same Company Commander that managed to take on a Carnifex in close combat and win. And holy shit what a win that was.

Actual 'character' would be Marbo. The guy is a ninja. i wish it was possible to field an actual squad of him. even if it was only a five man squad.

Some days i swear my dice are trying to get me killed.
Is it bad sportsmanship to cackle evilly during ones game?

I'm rather fond of a couple of them for performance sake and fluff sake. As for awesome rules that absolutely destroy on the table, Mephiston, Draigo, Skulltaker and Lysander are absolutely fantastic. For more fluffy characters, I really like Crowe and Lelith. Both are simply amazing in close combat; Lelith for not using drugs and Crowe for using the daemonsword as a regular sword all the while still kicking ass with it.
