Imperial guard concept army

Hey guys im looking to start a guard army, and while i like the basic Cadian style i want something a little bit different. So i was thinking a Cadian based army with these heads i found...

http://www.pig-iron-productions.com/...rues-p-23.html

Im kind of after a futuristic military police kind of look, they would probably be mostly airborn (or at least mechanised) and a dark unban camo kind of colour scheme. A bit like a SWAT team but on a larger scale. I would include Sentinals and Valkaries and maybe a small ammount of armour but no artillery.

Now ive seen a few armies with different heads etc, but the next bit is a bit more adventurous, i would like to use these models as counts as Ogrins... what do you think...

http://www.pig-iron-productions.com/...king-p-35.html

They would have the same stats etc, and be some sort of either radio controled, or simply programmed close assault units... what do you think? How do you think the best way to link that in fluff wise would be?

Thoughts and ideas VERY welcome

Real Men/Women/Aliens/Heretics/Warp Spawned Filth/Big Scary Space Monsters play Battlefleet Gothic... why dont you???

Thanks for linking to that site man! I've been looking for some heads for my footsloggers... I don't realy like the way the cadians look ^^ I figure the unite size is the same as GW models?

Ohh and to use those droids you would have to fit the with a human brain somehow, else it's against Imperial law You know the thing with Men of Iron = bad bad

It's a neat idea for sure, I'm a big fan of concept armys. Those helmets remind me of Judge Dredd more than a little. As for the robo guys bein ogryn I think its a great idea and I doubt anyone outside of a tourny would complain. In a tourny it depends on whose hosting it (some have rules requiring models to be composed of mainly GW pieces). But one way around this--and might just look awesome anyway--is to do some simply swap conversions to make the robo guys more ogryn-esque. Good luck and let us know how it turns out.

I actually know a guy who is doing an army somewhat like what you propose. Using the pig iron heads on Armageddon Steel Legion models I believe. And he uses a war droid there as an Ogryn. I think its a great idea.
