I don't play DHs but the one guy I have played that runs them likes to hide them in two tricked out LRs and take them around the board, and not many armys can take out two LRs before they get to close and let out there payload of pain.

Eyes with out life.
Maggot ridden corpses.
Mountains of skulls.
These are some of my favorite things.

Well two DH hq's with the sanctuary power can be pretty much auto-win against daemons in objective games as you can clear two objectives of daemons indefinately.

I think they work best if you run the Knights like eldar Dire Avengers, give each unit a brace of psycannons, and shoot up the enemy while falling back, then charge in and finish em. NOTE this is only useful against MEQs vs Tau or Guard you will get fucked.

The other thing is to use stormtroopers for your troops and save the pts for FA knights and termis

Also use the calidus assasain to shut down gunlines

All That is Gold Does Not Glitter
All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost.
From the ashes a fire shall be woken,
A light from the shadows shall spring;
Renewed shall be blade that was broken,
The crownless again shall be king.

sweet i like these few dirty tricks because mine was

an inquisitor with priest and a hole lot of combat servitors and henchmen so that when daemons are within charge range they count as initive1 which can screw up any daemon lord or anything daemon. but 2 landraider i like.

I take a allied inquisitor as my dirty trick:

Inquisitor Lord with psycannon
2 Mystics
2 Gun servitors (heavy bolters)
1 gun servitor (multi-melta)
total-172

It gives you a cheap unit of devys and the chance to shread any enemy that DS's anywhere near them... and if you happen to play demons then your likely to get a free shot with them (or any unit within 12" of them) at any unit of daemons that happens to try to DS close to your army (giving you an extra turn or two as they move back accross the board).
