Default Custom Squads

Hi all,

I have a lot of leftover bits and pieces from when I have assembled my squads for my chapter, I was wondering if I could create my own unique squad from these bits and pieces and have them on the table, would this be allowed in clubs or tournaments?

Bits are from:
Tactical Squads
Primaris Intercessors
Primaris Reivers
Command Squad
Infiltrators
and others.

Thanks in advance for your comments.

It shouldn't usually be a problem, but while you're allowed to customize your models' looks you're going to have to work with the same rules as everyone else. So best to pick a datasheet and build toward that.

Ask not the Eldar a question, for they will give you three answers; all of which are true and horrifying to know.

Thank you so much for your reply.

The squad that I was planning to make from the bit and pieces was only about 5 men strong. it was to represent me on the table kind of like a role-playing squad that would fit into the narrative of a battle.

I have been told that I can create a custom squad using whatever body parts which include torso, heads, backpack, shoulder pads but the only thing that might hinder me is picking the weapons as weapons are squad specific, meaning that I couldn't have a squad of 5 flame throwers as there is not a squad that has that configuration. Was I told correctly?

Cheers

Yep! The Space Marine kits mix pretty well, too. And actually I think Company Veterans CAN grab 5 flame throwers if you really want them
