Due to my work commute suddenly going from 30min to 75min due to a longstanding bridge closure, I've been nailing though all the 40k audiobooks I own.
I just wondered which were everyone's favourites?
I'm currently on Scythes of the emperor: Daedalus and it's not massively gripping me. It's spending a long time describing everything - It's a little like the author is trying to show off the depths of his 40k knowledge rather than telling me the story..
I think my favourite is The Soul, Severed.
Chosen of Khorne is cool too - I love the portrayal/sound/voice of Kharn in this
Some I just find funny.
Howl of the Banshee - all the banshees have Irish accents
The Path forsaken - the eldar rangers all have Welsh accents
Censure is funny because I never imagined the ultramarines with somerset accents
So what does everyone think are the best?
