Default Using the Deathwatch Codex for Chaos.

I wanted to create an elite chaos army using the deathwatch codex. I was just wondering if this was a good or a bad idea. I mean other than the fluff behind using the codex and some items in the codex might be a bit odd.

First up, welcome to the boards.

If it fits the theme of the army you're trying to build, and you're sure any opponent will know what everything counts as, it's not a problem. I know a bloke that uses the SW codex for his Khorne chaos marines, with juggernauts for thunder wolves, and possessed for wulfen.
