I seem to know how to pick 'em. I get all sorts of wonky packages on a regular basis.

I bought a squad of Khorne Berserkers when the 4th Edition Chaos codex came out, and got the models that were supposed to be in there, as well as the metal bitz from the then-new Havoc squad. All of them. Just loose in the box, amidst the sprues.

I got an Immolator sprue in a Rhino box I bought once. I was a happy camper, since I use those bitz extensively anyway.

I noticed a bulging (like, the box was splitting) package of Space Marine Terminators once. There were two boxes' worth of models in it. Fifty bucks, ten Terminators.

I bought a box of Sisters of Battle last friday for my new army, and I got twelve Sisters instead of ten. Didn't even notice it initially, since I opened 'em up at the store as it was game night and I was going to clean up the flash while I waited for people to show up. When I got home, I found that there were two extra Sororitas in there. Made me a happy camper, since I don't intend to use the packaged Sister Superior or the storm bolter in the box, so I still ended up with ten Sisters I'll actually use.

IN THE US? ASK ME HOW TO GET 10% OFF GAMES WORKSHOP PRODUCTS!

I went and bought a landraider box and opened it up and got all the landriader sprues but come to find out it had two tomb king sprues inside. It was cool as I trade them for some orks since I hoped that wasn't the landraider crew that it was suppose to come with.

God, gives children to people so that death won't seem so disappointing.

I once got a misformed BFG cruiser once. I went to the GW shop and they didnt have any in stock, so he gave me 2 lots of escorts. When I got home, I was still a bit miffed, so called GW mailorder and they sent me a whole new crusier.

Your toast has been burnt and no amount of scraping will get rid of the black bits.

2/3 Destroyer sprues I had in my most recent Necron battleforce were deformed so I called up GW and they're sending me a new one.

Atleast they're nice about it.

Bought the old Fantasy Keep/Castle thing a couple years ago and the box was missing the parts to complete the fourth tower. I called GW, (as I had ordered it online and didn't think to just go in the store), and they said they'd send a replacement. Well what came in the mail was a wall section, another call insured I got the right piece.

Not a horrible mistake but I did have several scenarios where the Great Wall of the Empire spanned 5-6 feet.

But 10 termies in a box? Jeez, that'd sure help me bulk up my Deathwing.

A box of Stormvermin I purchased at my local store came with one of the rat bodies completely ripped in half. It was metal too. GW is cool about it and sent me a new box of 10. Never could guess how a solid metal figure could be destoryed like that.
