I stopped getting White Dwarf ages ago so probably not the best qualified to comment.
The plus for me is that I can have a quick scan in the shop first and it's not going to take too long to get the majority of the content down and see if there are any relevant rules I need so I only get the bare minimum.
The worst part is I rarely get into my nearest GW these days as it's a 30 mile round trip and I'd have to drag the kids along so I'm more likely to miss the important issues for my armies.
Visions was awful so i wouldn't waste my cash on that but If I remember a while back people were asking for a White Dwarf that didn't have so many pages of pointless crap so few can complain when GW take that onboard and give you a mini booklet of what's new.

Ah, so it's as I feared
The 'complimentary' issue confused me, of there had been a note with It saying so that would've been great... Or maybe there was...
So yeah, visions is defiantly not worth the money, it's shit and a web search will get me the same results, if not better, without the useless shit and foreign text
Ah well... With all the good GWs produced, I guess I can't complain too too much

Through temptation and horror
I have held to my faith
As a drowning man grasps at a rock
Judge me not by my weakness
Remember not my sins of late
