Sweet, I think I'll give Kill Teams a try. My girlfriend says she's down to play 40k with me (gods know I've got the minis for it), so something on this scale might make the most sense. 500 pts in a normal game could be fine too, come to think of it... At any rate, once she learns the rules I'm sure she'll beat me. She's smarter than I am, and probably more ruthless.

I'll have to read up on that HoR stuff if it's so good.

I've watched a few kill team videos on YouTube today. I think I'm going to like this. Itching for a game!

Probably going to use 5 Chosen MOK - 1 plasma with preferred enemy. 1 double LC with furious charge. Then 10 cultists - 1 heavy stubber maybe with poisoned 4+.

GW version will be great for me with about 1 years experience. I can see a more detailed version being better for those with more experience.

We still haven't gotten around to using the official GW rules, still playing HOR (as it's awesome).

We've started a campaign now as well - getting XP and levelling up after games adds a nice other level to matches. Even if you lose the game there's still the possibility that you'll get a good experience roll and snag something cool for your team.

I played against my buddy's DA with my Orks and I brought 5 nobz with a bunch of upgrades. I had some good rolls, and I won both games
