Default bad gamesworkshop(pulls out whip!!)

don't you hate it when you look at the options of what your squad can get like chaos terminators able to have lighting claws, but when you buy the box set there are no lighting claws!! whats the point, gets me so worked up

Its GW's way of making you pay for loyalist termies so you can get their lc's and convert them then watch the loyalist gather dust while you still forked out the extra $45 for them, but yeah if you want lc's for chaos(like me) see if there are any marine players you know with some extra claws laying around, maybe they can help you out

I used the lightning claws from the Chaos Termie lord pack and gave him the axe granted you only get 1 set but its better than nothing. And yeah I agree it is annoying when a unit has options but they dont come with it sometimes causes a lot of peoples units to look the same if they dont have the parts for conversions like metal SM veterans.

Have a go at making some yourself. Thin plasticard for the blades and greenstuff to mount them into. Coupla spiky bitz and some skulls/chains. Done.

Yeah thats the same for me, for examples i brought some Ork Kommandoz the other day and in my codex it says may have rocket launcher. But that means me cutting up the metal model and not have the piece come with it! it makes me so annoyed>:

A kids crayon (with a rounded tip) stuck onto a plasticard plate stuck onto a plastic pole. A few wires to make it look "worky". Done.

I definitely agree with Rhamag. You can make nearly every choice in a given codex using nothing more than standard plastic troops, some odds and ends, and a bunch of creativity. There's no reason you should have to use a metal model 80-90% of the time. Besides, it'll give you an entirely new (and incredibly useful) skill set.

This may be a little off topic, but I hate when on boxes they show you a picture of like 4 of the unit and then you get home only to realize it is only one. (Note to self, READ THE BOX NEXT TIME!!!)

Yeah, I hate it when the box says I'm getting a squad of Sisters of Battle with a choice of flamer and stormbolter, but inside are only metal models. Goddammit you lying sons of bitches, Games Workshop, I wanted my own real-life dominatrix space nuns. D:<

Some people forget that half the hobby is modelling, use your imagination/bits box and get convertin'.
