Default Remove one thing from any unit or army, to make it suck.

As the title states, remove one thing from any unit or army to make that unit/army suck. This could be taking a special rule away, removing a weapon option, or reducing a character or weapon stat (for balance, we'll say that you can remove 1 point)

I'll go 1st.

Taking away Tau's marker light abilities. We would be worse of even more than we are at the moment

LOL The Tau players I know don't even use the damn things. They do quite well without them.

I was thinking removing Tesla weapons would have a bigger affect. That or no Gauss rule. Hard to say which would be worse.


Oddly, I can't think of one thing to cripple the Blood Angels. Take away Sanguinary Priests? I'll run Death Company. Take away Descent of Angels? I won't Deep Strike. Take away Death Company? I've still got Assault Marines as Troops. Take away Fast Tanks? I'll play more defensive than offensive. Weird.

Reckon I'd miss Hammerhand or my grenades more but TBH GK's have so much in their bag of tricks losing one thing means you just use something else.

Maybe Psyfldreads ? but even then not really.

I think you'd have to restrict it to one unit, unless it's a special rule. Taking away power armor from all units, or a units weapons, just defeats the point. XD

Didn't think of removing ATSKNF. But I already play 2 armies without it, so I could adapt if need be. And I know the pain of not having it with Necrons. My Dark Eldar at least have the Initiative to avoid being swept away.

Remove the Daemon rule from all Daemons. They cease to exist!

Orks lose their mob rule special rule and turn into a bunch of cowards.
