Some meganobz! They really are awesome and add a punch to your mobz of boyz. Also as you have already pointed out, boyz, lots and lots of boyz.

Your toast has been burnt and no amount of scraping will get rid of the black bits.

Get a minimum of 60 boyz, then I'd look at bringing the Stormboyz up to 15 strong and adding Zagstruk, because he's all kinds of hilarious. Oh, and 10 more Lootaz at least.

90% of people think they are above average.

Statistically Improbable. Psychologically Inevitable.

And adding to the list: a runtherder. You can't field that many grots without a 'herder and they're a cheap objective-camping unit.

More nobz. You want one leading each mob of boyz and if you field them as a unit themselves, then you really do need more.

I'd also suggest a Big Mek with an SAG. Besides the randomness, you then get to field your Deff Dread as a Troop choice which is always a bit of fun. And if you plan on Apoc, then you'd need one for the Dread Mob formation. (So you'll need another Dread and 3 more Kanz.)

Oh, speaking of Heavy Support.... I prefer a Lobba battery, but you may find Kannons are more your style.

I agree with this, although I wouldn't use Zagstruk, a nob with a powerklaw and bosspole would be better for them, in my opinion.

Also, at least 2 more bikes. The bikes need to be 5-6 in size with a nob, powerklaw, and bosspole.

In fact, virtually every Ork unit needs a nob, powerklaw and bosspole (and maybe 'eavy armor for the nob as well, if you have the spare points) if they can take them.

I wouldn't use the weirdboy, they don't really work well at all with 6th edition rules. Just use the model as a really cool runtherder or painboy instead.

Finally, if you can get your hands on some cheap heavy weapons bits, putting together some converted big gunz kannons would help a lot too. A unit of 3 kannons with 3 extra krew is only 69 points. Ridiculously cheap considering how effective they can be.

Good luck!

A really great of making big gunz is using the imperial guard heavy weapon team box set and some spare grots.
You can use the lascannons as zapp gunz
Mortars are lobbaz
Missile launchers are kannonz
And grots are the crew- der maybe even convert them to have little signs =]

60 Boyz?! PFFT!

If you want to play Apocalypse you need hundreds of Da Boyz! A few Green Tides should do the trick. I run three in mine

Meganobz and more Lootas/Kanz/Dreadz are also good.

As others have said: Make sure to include Nobz w/Klaws & Boss Poles to each Boyz Squad that isn't part of a Green Tide.

A few Trukks, with various Heavy Weapons on them can be helpful, as can Battlewagons or Looted Wagons. Gun Trukks and Looted Wagons require some conversion skill though so i'll let you be the judge of that.

Also try obtain a copy of IA8: Raid On Kastorel Novem too, it has the most complete list of Ork Weaponry to date and a Dread Mob list as well, there are some very interesting options in that book.
