Default Races serving Chaos

Hey,

So, I was wondering if humanty is the only species that is currently (partially) working for Chaos.

We know the DE aids certain aspects of Chaos, though not deliberately, and that many races have fallen due to Chaos.
But are there any known alien species working for the dark gods?

From Gaunt's Ghosts: In additon to Loxatl, there's whatever Desolane is from Blood Pact; 'a slender, sexless creature' with short horns, and a gauze cloak that moves like smoke - not sure if racial item or stolen/commissioned. There's also at least one race including or comprised of what we would call Minotaurs. There's a big-ass slug, race name not provided, and a creature called a Jehgenesh, but they are warp-based and thus are arguably Daemons. Ogryns can also serve Chaos, although usually unwittingly (what do they want that a Chaos God can give them?) or after extensive modifications into once/twice/thrice-wroughts.

Were the Laer chaos serving, or was Fulgrim's daemon sword just an accident?

They turned (and they're mercenaries). In the Freebooter fluff (since they're the only ones that would hire a Chaos Renegade Ork Warband), it specifically mentions that these Orks have turned from Gork & Mork and have given themselves over to Khorne, to the extent that they can be granted mutations (horns usually, which impress regular Orks).

I'm surprised no one mentioned the Dragon Ogres. I know they're more a fantasy property, but they as a species made a pact with chaos for immortality in the face of their own extinction.

I doubt we'll see them in 40k. While they are reasonably 'grim-dark', I think they come across as more tragic than villainous.
