Default Special 5th Editions going fast?

Hi all,
I spoke with my local gaming store where I normally buy most of my GW stuff because I get 20% off. The guy was going to order the Gamers Edition of the 5th Edition for me, but he said to definitely go ahead and get it elsewhere if I could, because they're going to go fast.

So I called GW to order the Gamers Edition. It's $90 and shipping would be $11. But, if you order $100 worth of stuff, shipping is free. So, I also ordered the LOS pointer for $10 to get the order to $100. So, by ordering an extra $10 worth of stuff I actually saved $1!

Cheers,
Tau2007

I figured they might. I've already put a deposit in for the 5th edition on its own at my local GW, so I'll be getting that now. That's despite me saying that I'd buy the Gamers' Edition.

Ah well. Now, if they gave you a Tau version of the Gamers' Edition, it'd be a different story.

Brilliant!
Plus you can use the LOS marker to blind your opponent if they annoy you!

The 5th Edition Gamers Edition is pretty sweet. I can live without the rules, I just really want that ammo case.

Oh, I'll definitely be using the LOS marker to annoy my friends!

Gibson -- a Tau Edition = what an excellent idea! It could come in what form? Hmm . . . a drone-shaped case! That would be cool!

It would come in the form of a fully working 'Crisis' battlesuit, complete with anti-git missiles, a dice firing Plasma Rifle mock-up, and a special pole attachment to the groin area, affectionatley known as 'The Humiliator'.

EDIT: And also a hard-wired Targetting Array, so that you rarely miss when using The Humiliator.
