Target locks were removed from the armoury because we do not have a "Target Priority" rule anymore. All they did was remove the need for those.

No, the Target Lock (Battlesuit version) allowed the model with it to fire at a different target to the rest of his squad. They removed it despite there being a very similar USR in 6th and Long Fangs still being able to do it.

It's such a bizarre nerf, that when I told the guy who hosts my regular gaming night about it he got very cross and immediately House Ruled it back in. And he doesn't even play Tau!

Im in love with the new bonding knife rules pretty much granting them stubborn even in combat. I can rest a little easier knowing in assault I can't be sweeping advanced as easily and I love stealth suits and they now have the shroud rule permanently. So even in the open they have a 5+ cover. Which is great because they get manhandled by plasma, "well there goes 200 pt. down the drain" with what? A couple of plasma rounds is what I see commonly killing them. All I know is that having that, has made them much more usable and having a 2+ in area cover excites me

There's no such thing as too many crisis suits.

It has to be the FW one, because flyers didn't exist when the GW one came out.
