Default Idea for 6ed box (not starter)

Well I was thinking about a box set bundling transports together before, but now with the new battle-brother ally thing...

what better way to get people to buy a 2nd army? we all need transports, not to mention you can't use a battle-brother's transport, so it would encourage people to say..buy a battleforce of the battlebrother army, and a transpo box, like 2/2 (rhinos/chimeras, rhinos/devilfish wave serpents/devilfish, wave serpents/raiders) you know..that sorta thing.

why not just buy multiple boxes of transports?

I would think a box that contained 2 IG squad + 2 Chimera would sell better than a box that contained 2 Rhino + 2 Chimera.

agree shady ed

having a box like what you mention robffffff would be a stupid idea, first not all the people who 40k in the world are going to collect ig/marines/tau etc etc so that means your going to have to do huge variety of boxes so that would be a huge wast of packaging costs it is way easier to buy multiple transports

sorry rob if i offended you

no offense taken I just see as how they're trying to sell more models by allowing you to field multiple armies, battlebrother boxes would be a cool idea (solely in my opinion)

I assume you're right and GW would never do it.
The reason for the idea was of course...to save on bundling transports and not have to pay 33$+ for just one. And I thought it'd be a good way to get people into wanting to field multiple armies.

GW is far too concerned with $ to be giving us such a deal. If you prefer, revert back to my old idea, just selling 1armies transpo's at a discount. 3 rhinos in a box for 80 or 90 instead of the 112 they normally would charge (37.50 x 3)

I dunno, Craigslist served me pretty well for my chaos (30-40% gw prices), I guess I can continue doing that even though I lose my bits I just don't have the money for this stuff...
