Its not worth doing for several reasons.
In terms of fluff, the idea that Daemons don't ever attack real space together has been debunked by several examples of them doing just that. Just have a flick through the codex and you'll see Khorne, Tzeentch, Slaanesh and Nurgle Daemons all side by side sticking it to mortals.
In terms of competitive play its not only boring, but its also a way to majorly gimp yourself in an army which is already hampered by its current rules iteration.
Finally, why deny yourself specific models, when you can legally take them? I think the variety of Daemon models from the various gods look really cool and colourful, so why not field and interesting army, rather than a bland mono-build?
Skarbrand and Fateweaver make an excellent duo. Last weekend I played in a 1750 tournament and ran them both in a 50/50 tzeentch and Khorne themed army. I Won all 3 games, so needless to say it was pretty awesome. Skarbrand's rerolls in combat made my bloodletters unstoppable. And Fateweaver's rerolls keep himself and Skarbrand survivable.
Really? Nearly 650pts on two models? Lucky you didn't run into any Grey Knights, they probably would have ate the list for breakfast.
