Realm of Battle Layout D10 Table

Decided to put together a quick table showing the major different layouts for the ROB set.

The table has 10 slots, and 10 different layouts. So a quick roll on a D10 when a specific table type isn't called for will give you the type of table.

Within each layout is still room for variation. (I.E. One layout is the Big Hill, but how you build the big hill, and its orientation is up to you). These 10 layouts are, in my opinion, the 10 major table variations you can build using just the base set (no expansions).

It can be found here:
http://www.mediafire.com/?s6hag48r8pj0shs

Its a simple image, and can be printed as is, or pasted into a word document.

Decided some shots of my table in the various configs would be nice.

I dug deep on that. But that was because my place is rather small, and storage is limited. This gives me a wide variety of table layouts, with minimal purchase of extra terrain. So, for me, at my place, it was really a no brainer.

Now if they'd just come out with non-forge world expansion pieces.

Once played a game where we made the hill in the middle of a 4'x4' and placed a fortress of redemption right across it. Has been one of my favourite games to be honest!

I"d be tempted to just get a sheet of ply wood and cut it into section to get nearly the same effect, if a bit heavier, for a lot less money. That's actually tempting, I might look into it when I get back from hell.

If you go into your store they will sell single tiles of the RoB board, just one of the 6 all ready out but butter then nothing.

Last year during the Armies of Parade build up, my store actually got one of the new sets and 'known-loss'-ed it through the till (or something) and then sold the individual board pieces inside to people who needed it.

Added shots of my own version to the table. Just for fun.
