Icon FW can't make tanks

Hi all

Who in right mind would make turret weapon useless just to fit any light weapon?

The first one is a horrid example of planing before assembling, but I am fairly sure that the second one is able to rotate 360.

Ah, i see, yes indeed that has been a problem on several of GW's tanks. They have put little thought, if any, into it.

You will notice: both of your examples are GW products that FW has produced extension kits for. The design flaw is on GW's head not FW's.

Waiting for HOBO to jump in here, both myself and him own a copious amount of FW products

One thing though. Isn't the pintle mounted weapon usually on the turret cupola rather than the hull one? It certainly is on anything I build and most real world tanks follow this arrangement. I think this is more of a 'Lets show all of the available options by cramming them onto the model' type scenario. As for the hull cupola on a rhino there is usually space for the hatch with the viewing prisims and no more. Anything else sits too high. Although the standard hatch in the open position leaves room for a crewmans head.

Yes indeed we do... I only have Land Raiders though, no other SM Tank as they don't fit my army's themes.

Why bother wasting points on SB's in the first place, well unless you have a spare 10 pts once the rest of the list is sorted.

Yeah, simple solution is don't purchase an unnecessary and overpriced upgrade that you know will interfere with your LoS...

Your worrying about the storm bolters blocking the turrets when clearly that marine cannot get in and out of that hatch with those shoulder pads!

Slowly more and more of my cash is putting the kids of the forge world team through college!!
