Default Necrons are like...

The other night I traded the last bit of my Magic the Gathering off for cash and bought about $200 worth of Necrons. This includes codex, 3 boxes of Necron warriors, Imotekh, Trazyn, and an Overlord. While I was looking over one box my wife was looking at another. She was wanting to know what they were like, I said they look like Terminators but are somewhat like the Cylons from the revamped BSG. About how close of an estimation is that? I've not read any Necron novels but just the first bit of fluff from the codex.

I'd say that's a good comparison. The new cylons have leaders with some free will and limited emotions of highly advanced artificial organisms. The warrior type cylons were smart but had no free will, so like the warriors of the Necrons.

Unfortunately, none of the Necrons are smoking hot chicks who seduce normal humans and twist their fragile minds and loyalties with their wicked sex.

Dunno about BSG (Never watched it, I know, I know, HERESY!!!), But terminator's pretty good, Flayed ones are (or at least were) similar to early Infiltrators (T-600's used Rubber as a skin substitute, looked fine from afar but up close was obvious, similar to Flayed Ones wearing skin as a 'Disguise')

O Caido o senhor das demandas,
