Or just simply not let them get near you, seeing as they're footslogging. Thunderfire cannons make short work of large boyz mobz, I've found from experience.

There is a fine line though, because if they can surround the rhino and wreck it, everyone inside is dead. or i they fail to judge the distance a disembark too soon then blam kill in the tide.

Big Shootas give you a chance to imobilize it.
