Ork Tankk Destroya

Unashamedly inspired by an idea I saw somewhere else (but mine's better!).

Based on a 1/35 Russian ISU 152. This is the Zvezda brand model, but there are others. East European ones tend to be cheaper but cruder, but fine for Orks. Don't waste your money on the Dragon version at twice the price.

Armed with a Super Gattler from a Stompa, with the kit gun as the inner barrel. Lots of platic card and rivitts. The ribbed tubing and wiring you can see is guitar wire, which is surprisingly cheap and goes a long way - but can be a bit stiff. Persuade your local guitar shop to keep re-stringing off-cuts for you.

There is a 4th crewman, AWOL for the photos. Engine is from a 1/24 scale car model. Resin oil drums are 1/35 Verlinden products. A pack of 2 dozen is about 16: good value.

The loose mesh peeking into a couple of pics is the engine cover, left off for the photos.
