Ork Scorcha sidecar

Ork Scorcha sidecar

I bought the very old Scorcha turret with no real idea what to do with it. Like Henry Ford said, "research is what I'm doing when I don't know what I'm doing"! Anyway, this idea took shape as much by accident as by design. Sidecar body was cut/carved in about 20 mins from a solid block of something professional model-makers use for carving - no idea what it's called, I'm afraid. You can't really see the angles in this light, but the rivets show where they are. Sidecar chassis is from a 1/35 scale Flak gun. Other bits from the bits box, plastic card, etc. Rivet heads are made using N guage model railway track pins - Peco SL14's I think - and some dressmaker's pins when I ran out of those and the shops were shut.
