I'm seriously considering hitting up this B&N place, as they're rather cheap.

Postage is a paddle boat from the US though...........

In reference to the OP,

If you find wedge is in need of doing multiple actions a turn, then give him push the limit.

For Blount I think giving him the assault missiles (or whatever is the AOE missile that hurts other ships around the target) or cluster missiles to really make something die.

Edit:

while I personally do not care much for the YT1300 (Falcon) I do have Outrider (YT2400) and it is a BEAST, and they play similar enough so that I can convey my experience a little bit.

1) Go Big or Go Small
IE go with the cheapest pilot and use the ship as a target magnet OR load up on it first, making it super awesome and work the list around him.

2) Turrets are awesome!
Minus some cards upgrades (like outmanouver and such which require the normal LoS of the ship), you do not have to worry about where you are to shoot something - someone is chasing you? SHOOT HIM BACK!!!

3) Push The Limit is AWESOME

4) the crew card from the hawk that gives you a second focus, amazing part deux!

5) the middle of the field is DEATH LAND, DO NOT GO INTO THE MIDDLE UNLESS YOU WANT TO DIE

6) IF IT BLEEDS, WE CAN KILL IT!
You are not invulnerable, a very lucky turn can make your fully healthy large ship be only a shot or two from death.

It sure looks that way, provided you have a way of shedding stress relatively easily.

Learned that the hard way against 7 TIEs last night. Ah well.....now I know!

The movement of ships is paramount to success, much like the movement of units in 40k. I love positioning

Seems I already rep'd you for that Predator quote. Excellent work!

I might buy a 2400 today...I dunno. FRIGGING MONEY! I'm definitely going to beef up the TIE selection, Defenders look pretty swank. Anyone have any experience with them?

....and after playing with the two X's and the Z, @Sethis I think you're very right with your initial call on my list. I need another ship in there, and another Z would be a great fit. Also, I'm gunna have to agree with Assault missiles on at least one of them as they were a great boon in facing my girlfriend's swarm of TIEs. The IPL might still come in handy though against lone ships since AMs don't do any damage to the ship you're actually targeting.

Unfortunately Canada got rid of the penny and now my two cents rounds down to zero, so...take it for what you will.

They do 4 Red dice of damage. The splash is just a bonus on top of that!

90% of people think they are above average.

Statistically Improbable. Psychologically Inevitable.

So I caved and got another Z-95, and my 100 point list looks like this:

Wedge - R2D2, Proton Torpedoes
Luke - Marksmanship
Bandit Pilot - Ion Pulse Missiles, Munitions Failsafe
Bandit Pilot - Ion Pulse Missiles, Munitions Failsafe

100 points bang on. Any suggestions? I've toyed with the idea of dropping the PTs on Wedge to swap IPMs for Assault Missiles (since they're way better than I thought) on one of the Z-95's. I'll likely try playing it both ways, but I like the idea of putting something in an Ion coma for two turns straight with staggered IPM shots.

As an Imperial player, I have been on the receiving end of this and it fugging sucks.

The oldest and strongest emotion of mankind is fear, and the oldest and strongest kind of fear is fear of the unknown.

Sorry for your luck, but PERFECT! I'll be up against a Decimator and am a little worried about the vast expanse of hit points it presents.

Decimators are really simple to deal with I found, since they in general have 0 evade dice/tokens (yes there are ways for it to get some) so "just shoot the f*cker" is a decent strategy - Heavy ships (aka B-wing for rebels) is a VERY GOOD idea to use on them 2 PS2 b-wings usually take care of 60% or more of the damage (roughly 10, so you ONLY have to chew through 4 more hull), focus fire on it as soon as you can and then proceed to obliterate it.

I have faced two "runs" of decimators - MR. RAM EVERYTHING (anti-pursuit lasers, the ram pilot, etc) or Mr. I like to evade (Kinkirk, isadeen(?) lady who gives you a free evade token or some shit).

Ruthlessness is an EVIL card if you like to mix it in CQC (Range 1) so plan on running green maneuvers (so easily being "trapped" from the escort ties/phantoms/interceptors.

----

On the missiles, I am not a fan of the ion missiles - the extra ion doesn't do anything against a fighter, and only doing 1 damage is rather pathetic instead of taking some y-wings with the ion turret (yes more points and you do not have the ship), I would suggest to either drop the missiles all together and give luke and wedge proton torpedoes (to cripple the decimator) or to give them slightly better missiles (cluster or assault).

----

Ion missiles i find to be REALLY not worth it, unless I know that I am facing multiple large ships, or if I have to drop points - which is NOT my preferred choice.
