I think were I to do anything differently in that list with the given pilots I would drop the Shield Upgrade on Katarn for an R2 Astromech on Horton and Advanced SLAM on the K-Wing.

Tweaking for the sake of tweaking though really. The TLT with the BTL-A4 upgrade could be oh so much fun...specially on Horton and his dieseled Lone Wolf-ish pilot ability.

Unfortunately Canada got rid of the penny and now my two cents rounds down to zero, so...take it for what you will.

Haven't used/faced a K-Wing yet so I can't really comment.

Although the BTL title is a bit naughty

I've been running vader echo and 2x ties, they run very well. I'm waiting to run juno but she might not compliment echo as well as vader with his 2x actions. (Squad leader to give echo the extra action)

How do you run them?

Juno really seems like a lone shark in space because of that wicked-amazing 'I can do anything' dial. What squadron would you play that would keep up with her in formation?

TIE ADVANCED: Darth Vader (29)
Squad Leader (2)
Proton Rockets (3)
Stealth Device (3)
TIE PHANTOM: "Echo" (30)
Marksmanship (3)
Advanced Cloaking Device (4)
Mercenary Copilot (2)
TIE FIGHTER: Academy Pilot (12)
TIE FIGHTER: Academy Pilot (12)

Vader and echo are dedicated tag team. Squad leader makes sure echo is in the right spot, proton rockets are for when vader is in the right spot.
The 2x ties are bait. Head straight for the enemy, guns blazing.

Juno is such a versitile solo. I would run her with just a tie swarm. Possibly use howlrunner to make tye ties more of a threat, and juno runs clean up.

no TIE/x1 with Accuracy Corrector on Vader? Though, I guess waiting for the actual card from the Raider box is ok. I haven't

Digging that Echo build. I typically toss Veteran Instincts on because I'm nervous about people shooting before me on a decloak but that looks nice, specially paired with Vader.

Oh yeah forgot about that one. I drop mercenary for the extra 2 points put on t/x1 and.... you get the picture. It adds to the hard hitting.

Can anyone clarify the twin laser turret for me? My reading of it is that if I roll two hits, he takes two damage. However, a more seasoned veteran insisted that even if I roll three hits and fails to evade any of them, he only takes one damage. If that's the case I don't think I'll be bothering with them again. Too many points spent for only doing a maximum of 2 damage on the two rolls you get.

Cancel all dice results means cancel all dice results my friend. One damage max per shot, though the X-Wing forum is on fire with how awesome it is. I don't get it....but then again I didn't get the HLC until I started using it.

Similar wording can be found on Ion Pulse Missiles.

Fuck that. Back to the ion turret so. At least it has a knock on effect into the next turn.

A thought just struck me. With the laser turret does the target get to evade, or just take the hit automatically? That would be the only plausible way I can see for costing that much.
